The picture you clicked on to get to this part of our website was taken by our daughter, Tina.  My husband, Roy, and our granddaughter, Taryn, are the subjects in the photo riding our horses, George and Cassie.

Taryn has always loved riding horses. Almost since she was born, we have plunked her on top of whatever horse happened to be standing around at the time, to her great delight.  One day when Taryn was about four, her mother decided she wanted some photos of Taryn and her Papa riding horses.  Tina made arrangements with her Dad to come to the ranch and he would have the horses saddled and ready to go.  They spent several hours taking photos in different locations around the ranch, and just as dusk was beginning to descend, Tina kept on taking pictures.  Her father told her she might as well quit because the light was gone and she wouldn't be able to get anymore decent pictures this day.  She just smiled at him, as she always does, and kept on snapping photos.  Of course, this picture of Taryn in silhouette looking so intently to her grandfather for direction has become one of our family's favorite photographs.

When we started to discuss a logo for the business, this picture just naturally came to mind.  It evokes the feeling of love and guidance moving through the generations.  It symbolizes what our family is about.  You will find this picture on every page of our website and on every package of our meat products.  When you see it, you know you are safe with Circle Arrow Longhorns.
